A night after scoring 14 runs, the Boise Hawks managed just one in a 2-1 setback to the visiting Tri-City Dust Devils on Saturday in a Northwest League game.

The loss snapped the Hawks’ three-game winning streak.

Tri-City (11-12) scored single runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings that proved to be the difference.

Nic Motley went 3 for 3 to lead Boise (12-11) including an RBI to account for the Hawks’ run in the third.

Boise goes to Hillsboro for a three-game series. After an off day on Wednesday, the Hawks open a six-game homestand with the first three games against Hillsboro.
