Four different players scored goals and goalie Ariel Kotte made 11 saves, as the Kuna girls soccer team shut out Nampa on Thursday night in 4A Southern Idaho Conference play.

Lexi Haws, Jayla Ponce, Natasja Davis and Amina Bah each found the back of the net for Kuna (7-0-1 overall, 7-0-1 4A SIC) in the win.

BISHOP KELLY 6, CALDWELL 0: Mia Cartwright netted two goals to go along with a pair of assists, as the Knights ran their unbeaten streak to 72 games with a win over the Cougars in 4A SIC.

Belle Vinsonhaler, Ashley Anderson, Sydney Cromwell and Sara Sabala also all scored for Bishop Kelly in the win.

MIDDLETON 3, COLUMBIA 1: Gracie Schmitt pulled off the hat trick with three goals, as the Vikings beat the Wildcats in 4A SIC.

Gisselle Amador scored the lone for Columbia.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN 5, MERIDIAN 0: Ainsley Terada bagged a pair of goals, while Kelsey Oyler added two assists, as the Grizzlies blanked the Warriors in 5A SIC play.

Mylee Carver, Jada Torpey and Violet Rademacher scored the other three goals for Rocky Mountain.

BORAH 3, CAPITAL 0: Zoie Koci, Sydney Shafer and Ellie Kubena all scored a goal, while Molly McCabe tallied four saves, as the Lions won their first game of the season in 5A SIC play.


MIDDLETON 2, COLUMBIA 2: Justin Baker and Ethan Tomasi each scored a goal for the Vikings in a draw with the Wildcats in 4A SIC play.

NAMPA 3, KUNA 1: Zance Davis knocked in a pair of goals, while Tre Brewer had the other, as the Bulldogs won in 4A SIC.

Tristren McMahan scooped up five saves for Nampa in the win.


ROCKY MOUNTAIN 59, BOISE 0: Colby Jackson went 7-of-10 for 237 yards and three touchdowns, while Devon Fox ran for 107 yards and two scores, as the No. 1 Grizzlies (3-0 overall, 3-0 5A SIC) won their 15th straight game in a rout over the Brave (0-3, 0-3) in 5A Southern Idaho Conference play.

Rocky Mountain held Boise to 21 yards of total offense.

RIDGEVUE 3, CALDWELL 0: Maddie McKay notched six kills and nine aces, while Sadie Angell added 11 assists, as the Warhawks swept the Cougars 25-17, 25-20, 25-17 in 4A SIC play.

MELBA 3, VISION CHARTER 0: Maddi Bunnell recorded 18 aces, as the Mustangs won a 2A Western Idaho Conference contest with a 25-2, 25-3, 25-5 sweep of the Golden Eagles.

Katelyn Young added 20 assists for Melba in the win.

COLE VALLEY CHRISTIAN 3, MARSING 0: Senior outside hitter Brooke Weimer chalked up 11 kills and 11 digs, while senior setter Hannah Hengst chipped in with 18 assists and a pair of blocks, as the Chargers swept the Huskies 25-6, 25-17, 25-9 in 2A WIC play.



NNU RALLIES FOR FIVE-SET WIN: The Northwest Nazarene volleyball team rallied from two sets down to defeat Sonoma State in five sets 18-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-8 at the D2 West Region Showcase hosted by Stanislaus State.

Abbey Blum’s 19 kills and 13 digs led the Nighthawks (2-2), while Brooke Foster added 14 kills and 17 digs and Tayler Markland and Natalie Sullivan each had 11 kills. Megan Nelson had 49 assists and seven digs.


LATE GOAL LIFTS NIGHTHAWKS: Maddy Parton booted in the game-winning goal in the 84th minute with her left foot to give the Northwest Nazarene women’s soccer team a 2-1 victory against Hawaii at Hilo.

Rikki Myers had the other Nighthawk (2-1) goal on an assist from Parton.
