Boise State junior Lauren Sale opens the 2019 Pacific Games as a member of the Samoa National Swimming Team.

Sale will be representing Samoa for the first time in the Pacific Games where she will be competing in five events starting on Tuesday

On the first day of the swimming competition Sale will open with the 200-meter backstroke. Day two will see her swim in the 50-meter backstroke and 100-meter butterfly. Day three will be the 100-meter back, followed by the 200-meter individual medley on the final day of swimming.

As a sophomore this past season Sale competed primarily in the 100 and 200-yard backstrokes, as well as both the 200 and 400-yard IM.

NNU ANNOUNCES 2019-20 SIGNING CLASS: New Northwest Nazarene men’s soccer coach Adam Pearce has signed 12 players to his 2019-20 recruiting class.

The group includes midfielders Braeden Anderson, Matt Capone, Max Hartley, Ethann Bowman, Aidan McGinty and Cameron Natvig, defenders Garrison Lee, Lorenzo Valentini and Connor Ruis, and goalkeepers Cameron Enns, Sawyer Price and Cameron Hoff.
