In their Memorial Day matinee, the Boise Hawks notched an 8-3 win over their in-state foe, the Idaho Falls Chukars.

After rain canceled Sunday’s game, the Hawks got back on track Monday in large part because of a two-run home run by Raymond Gil in the third inning. Boise never trailed after Gil’s dinger to right, adding a pair in the fourth and fifth to build its cushion.
