La Mesa - Mary Elizabeth Knottingham - or "Betty" to many family and friends, 89, died in La Mesa, CA on March 1, 2023. She was born October 13, 1933, in Bagnall, MO, the fourth of ten children. She moved to Parma, ID with her family in 1941 and lived and worked most of her life in the Ontario, OR and Caldwell, ID area. She married Glenn Horace Knottingham May 16, 1951, in Glenns Ferry, ID. Glenn passed away April 6, 1995, after which she lived with her daughter Lynda in Caldwell, ID, until 2018 when she moved to La Mesa, CA to live with her daughter Katherine. Mary is survived by two sisters Josephine Mc Innis and Naomi Banta, and four children Kenneth Edward Knottingham (wife Dell), Katherine Ann Casey (husband Kenneth), Kristene Renee Logsdon (husband Robert) and Lynda Lois Kunkle (husband Anthony). She also considered herself further blessed to be the grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of three. Mary will be greatly missed by all that knew her. A celebration of life will be held for family members at a later date.
