Nampa - Rita B. Albers age 85 of Nampa, Idaho passed away on May 21, 2023. Rita was born in Centralia, WA, the youngest child of Loren and Helen Scyler. In 1957 she married the love of her life Adrian (Bud) Albers then moved to Idaho where they had two children David Albers (wife Lisa) and Diana Dean (husband James), 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. Rita was devoted to raising her two children, she later was involved in volunteer work at the Nampa police department and War Hawk Air Museum, and they were both involved in their church and loved Jesus. She and her husband Bud spearheaded annual fundraisers for Operation Warm Heart which assists service members in the Airforce that are in need. This was very near and dear to their own hearts, and they loved the Mountain Home Airforce members that became like family to them. Her loving husband passed away on August 25, 2016. She too will be missed by her loving family and dear friends but take comfort that she is reunited with Bud. Her family will be having a private memorial at a later time.
