The post said Groene is 5-foot-5, 150 pounds and has red hair. She has a "fear God" tattoo above her left eye, "midnight" above her right eye, a small cross below her right eye, a raiders mascot on the left side of her neck and a stud piercing below her left eye.
Groene was the only one in her family to survive the torture inflicted by Joseph Edward Duncan III in 2005. Duncan killed Groene’s mother, stepfather and brother, Slade, in 2005. He abducted her, then 8, and her 9-year-old brother, Dylan. Dylan was killed in front of Shasta in Montana. Groene was spotted with Duncan by a waitress at a restaurant in Couer d’Alene. Duncan received multiple life sentences, according to an Associated Press story.
