KUNA — A 17-year-old boy was airlifted to a Treasure Valley hospital Monday after he fell into the basement of a home under construction.

The incident occurred about 4 p.m. Monday at a construction site on East Flying Horse Lane in Kuna, according to Hadley Mayes, spokeswoman for the Ada County Paramedics. The boy fell 10 feet into the basement of an incomplete home. Crews had not yet built stairs to the basement, so the Boise Fire Department responded with a ladder truck, and firefighters hoisted the teen out of the basement, Mayes told the Idaho Press in an email.
