NAMPA — An autopsy conducted Thursday afternoon on the body of a man found in a Nampa canal ruled the cause of death is undetermined at this time, according to Nampa Police.

The body of a white male in his mid-20s was found in the Indian Creek Canal near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Third Street North at about 7:50 a.m., Thursday. Police combed the area and found no evidence of foul play.

Nampa Police have not been able to determine the man's identity. The man was 5 foot 10, 135 pounds with brown hair and light skin. He had a goatee with no mustache and pierced ears with clear studs. The man did not have tattoos or scars.

If anyone recognizes the description of the man or knows of someone missing who matches that description, Nampa Police asks that they call Det. Angela Weekes at 475-5713.
