Russell’s cause and manner of death are still pending, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office. No update has been provided on the driver of the SUV.

Another Boise man has been charged for his role in the crash.

Tanner Borman, 21, was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with two felony counts of aggravated driving under the influence, misdemeanor driving without privileges and misdemeanor failure to maintain liability insurance. A preliminary investigation showed that Borman was traveling south on Federal Way when his vehicle collided with the SUV, the Boise Police Department said.

The investigation is ongoing and additional or amended charges are possible, BPD said.
