NAMPA — The Downtown Nampa Twilight Criterium starts at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, with kids races and several levels of classifications. A mayor’s citizens race is slated for 6:20 p.m., with the feature elite race at 8:30 p.m.

The event — an outgrowth of the Belle District Criterium — presented by St. Luke’s and Saltzer Medical Group and is a combined effort of the Nampa Walk and Bike Week Committee, the Downtown Nampa Business Association, and the City of Nampa through its Police, Fire, Traffic and Parks and Recreation Departments.

A kid’s fun zone will be going on inside the race track at 14th and First Street from 4 to 8:30 p.m.  A concert stage will also entertain spectators and racers alike at Lloyd Square with a variety of music styles featured.
