The two Meridian residents who died in an apparent murder-suicide Thursday afternoon have been identified by the Ada County coroner.
The man was Daniel Cobb, 46, and the woman was Crystal Wilson, 36, according to a news release from the Ada County Coroner’s Office. Each died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the release. Meridian police are investigating their deaths as a murder-suicide.
That investigation began about 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon when police arrived at a home in the 2200 block of Horse Creek Court in Meridian. A witness had called police after stopping by the home to check on Wilson and Cobb, who police believe were dating, when the two failed to show up for work. Officers found Cobb and Wilson’s bodies there.
The investigation into their deaths is ongoing.
