NAMPA — A crowd filled one of the hangar bays at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa Monday during a pinning ceremony honoring local veterans of the Vietnam War.

Representatives from health insurance company Humana, in conjunction with the the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration, presented commemorative pins to all veterans in attendance who were engaged in U.S. military service between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975.

By presidential proclamation, Vietnam War Commemoration pinning ceremonies will continue through Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2025, the year that marks the 50th anniversary of the conflict's end.
