Middleton and Ustick Road overpass

A preliminary design of the Middleton Road and Ustick Road overpasses from May 2019.

The Idaho Transportation Department is hosting an open house from 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Canyon County Paramedics building at 6115 Graye Lane in Caldwell, where residents can review department plans to replace overpasses at Middleton Road and Ustick Road.

Replacing the overpasses, which were each built in 1966, will allow additional lanes to be built on Interstate 84, according to the department's website. The upcoming construction is part of a larger project to expand I-84 in Canyon County. ITD plans to complete final designs in the fall and replace both overpasses in 2020.
