BOISE — Idaho Association of Cities Executive Director Jessica Gearino Harrison was arrested Thursday evening on two misdemeanor charges.

Harrison, 36, was charged with trespassing and disturbing the peace after her arrest in Boise County, according to the Ada County Jail. According to the Ada County Jail’s website, she was scheduled to appear in court in Boise County Friday afternoon. She bonded out of jail however, and the arraignment did not occur, a Boise County employee confirmed Friday. The Idaho Supreme Court’s online repository did not show any new court dates for her as of Friday evening.

She was previously charged with disturbing the peace in 2002, but the charges were dismissed.

Harrison was named director of the organization in October 2017 following a stint as the director of government affairs and communications for the Idaho School Boards Association. Multiple calls to numerous employees and board members of the Idaho Association of Cities about Harrison’s employment status with the organization have gone unreturned in the last week and a half.

She is also a member of the Idaho POST Council, according to the organization’s website. The council is a government-appointed body that sets training standards for law enforcement within the state.
