NAMPA — Hands of Hope Northwest is in need of volunteers with medical expertise to pack and sort medical supplies and equipment that will be sent to countries in need.

In honor of Martin Luther King Day of Service on Jan. 19, volunteers will put together supplies that will be sent to Kenya and Rwanda. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hands of Hope collects supplies and equipment that are still usable, saving them from being thrown away, and gives them to people in need.
