A Boise construction worker was killed Tuesday when he fell while working on a roof in Ammon, Idaho, the Post Register reports.
Bonneville County Sheriff's Office identified the man Wednesday as 43-year-old Salvador Hidalga of Boise.
Hidalga was working for a roofing company doing repairs on the Ammon residence, according to the Post Register. When he fell, his co-workers performed CPR until emergency responders arrived. They were unable to revive him.
Detectives and the Bonneville County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident.
An April 7 hail storm damaged the houses and cars of thousands of Idaho Falls and Ammon residents, the Post Register reports. The demand for roof repairs has drawn contractors from across the country.
