Police located a vehicle of interest and arrested a suspect allegedly connected to a shooting that occurred Thursday evening in Nampa that left a man hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Christopher Williams, 21, was arrested overnight in Tremonton, Utah, on suspicion of driving under the influence and other charges. The white 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup Williams was driving was targeted as a vehicle of interest after the Nampa shooting and is in police possession, according to a Nampa Police Department news release.
The shooting occurred in the 300 block of West Orchard Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, Nampa police located the victim inside an apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, the release said.
