Just two weeks removed from breaking a national record, Mountain View High School’s Lexy Halladay was at it again at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle, Washington Saturday.

The freshman finished third in the girls mile with a time of 4 minutes, 44.24 seconds, which was .47 seconds back of winner, senior Anna Gibson of Jackson, Wyoming.

Halladay, who set the nation’s fastest time and broke a 44-year-old freshman record with a time of 4:41.80 at the adidas Girls’ Dream on June 2, was the only freshman in the race.
