Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village, a retirement community located in Meridian, has recently named Chad Mundy as executive director. Mundy joins Touchmark with nearly 20 years of experience in retirement living and health care operations, according to a Touchmark announcement Wednesday.
Most recently, he served Milestone Retirement as regional operations specialist for new community development and executive director of Glenwood Place Senior Living in Vancouver, Washington. Mundy has also served as executive director of operations for Milestone’s Almond Heights Senior Living in Orangevale, California. He succeeds Matt Hoskin, who advanced to a regional vice president role within Touchmark.
“We’re fortunate to have Chad join us and lead this dynamic community,” Hoskin said in the announcement. “Touchmark continues to expand, and Chad’s experience and education are well-suited to overseeing the continuum of services and supporting nearly 500 residents and more than 300 team members.”
Mundy earned his master’s in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He obtained his bachelor’s in long-term health care administration from Southern Adventist University and is currently working toward becoming a board-certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Throughout his career, Mundy has been active in the community, holding memberships and committee assignments in chambers of commerce, Rotary and other organizations. He received the Life Care Foundation for Education and Research Scholarship, presented by Life Care Centers of American.
Mundy enjoys spending time with his three boys and wife of 20 years.
