Former Boise State All-American running back Jay Ajayi will host a youth football camp in Boise in June, according to a press release.
The one-day Albertsons Jay Ajayi Football ProCamp, in partnership with Tide, will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 2 at Boise State’s Albertsons Stadium.
Participants will learn fundamental football skills and have the opportunity to meet and interact with Ajayi, according to the release. Each participant will receive a souvenir autograph from Ajayi and a team photo with him.
Ajayi will be onsite to direct the event, joined by a selection of prep and college coaches from the area.
The camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels in grades one through eight. The cost of the camp is $99. Registration and more information is available at JayAjayiCamp.com.
The camp’s event partners include Citi, Wilson, Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Fresh Thread Custom Apparel and the Hatton Foundation.
Ajayi had one of the best individual seasons in Boise State history as a junior in 2014, according to a report by the Idaho Press-Tribune. He left before his senior year to enter the NFL draft and was picked up by the Miami Dolphins, where he continues to play.
