With blue skies and warm weather finally here, the Meridian Community Pool is open for business.
The pool, run by the Western Ada Recreation District, opened May 31. The pool is at the intersection of Franklin Road and Main Street next to Storey Park in downtown Meridian.
The pool facility has a kiddie pool and 25-yard multiuse pool, three slides and two diving boards.
The pool is open for public swimming from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. weekdays, and from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting. Open swim admission is $2 to $4.
The pool also has dedicated hours for swim lessons, lap swim and private pool parties. Residents can visit meridianpool.com or call 208-888-3267 for details and to register for swim lessons.
