This week the Meridian Canine Rescue is featuring 8-year-old Rigby:
“Wanna cuddle up on the nice comfy couch to watch a movie? You could also split that bowl of popcorn — and maybe share a little corner of your blankie, too? I’m a really good cuddle buddy, and I promise not to drool on you!”
Rigby is a social guy and likes to be apart of any friendly, family gathering. He enjoys sitting on the couch, greeting everyone with a happy smile, and accepting pets. Rigby is great when meeting new people, kids, and dogs — even when visitors come to the house. Rigby’s likes include sleeping, getting brushed, laying on the furniture, and eating. His dislikes are fireworks, lightning, and baths.
At 8 years of age, Rigby is an adult who’s looking to find a forever home that can accommodate his preferences and make him part of the family. If you’re interested in adopting Rigby, please bring all family members in to meet him during our open hours.
The Meridian Canine Rescue, 501 E. Scenery Lane, is open from 12 to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The rescue’s phone number is 208-794-0944.
