Say hello to Misty! She’s 2 year old, full of energy, and she gives the very best hugs in the whole Treasure Valley.

Misty arrived at Meridian Canine Rescue via the Project Freedom Ride transport from Texas. We know that she’s good with dogs and kids, not a fan of cats, and not yet housetrained.

Here’s the write-up from her previous rescue:

“Misty was roaming and taken in by one of our volunteers a couple months ago. She is people friendly and thinks she is a lap dog. If you sit down, she will sit right on you. She is a little high energy, maybe partly because of the young age, but after a walk she settles down. She does well on a leash. She does not like cats, but has done well with other dogs. She has been around kids ages 11 to 13. She has done well with them and would probably be fine with even younger children.”

If you’re interested in adopting Misty, please bring the whole family in to meet her during the rescue’s open hours.

The Meridian Canine Rescue, 501 E. Scenery Lane, is open from 12 to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The rescue’s phone number is 208-794-0944.
