This week we would like to introduce adorable Honey.
She’s got a pep in her step, a doggie smile on her face, and a heart full of gold. Meet our new favorite girl, Honey. About a year old, now fully vetted and ready for adoption, Honey has decided that Idaho isn’t half bad.
The people here enjoy walks as much as she does. They appreciate quality time in the play yard, too. And, even better, they are as food-motivated as she is. Talk about a match made in heaven!
Honey is looking for a family that will appreciate her optimism. Even though some new things scare her, she is willing to venture outside of her comfort zone and hopeful that each new person she meets and each new place she explores will bring her nothing but joy.
That kind of energy is contagious. We know that Honey has met kids and other dogs, and behaved well. We aren’t sure if she’s house-trained, but we bet she’s willing to learn. Did we mention she is consistently inconsistent with ‘sit’ and ‘shake’? If you’re looking for a sweet, glass-half-full kind of dog, then come meet Honey.
The Meridian Canine Rescue, 501 E. Scenery Lane, is open from 12 to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The rescue’s phone number is 208-794-0944.
