BOISE — The Annual Job’s Daughters International of Idaho Grand Session was held recently in Boise. Bethel #8 of Caldwell had 15 girls and 10 adults in attendance.

The daughters brought home these awards: Individual in Ritual (by age) Novice: Kali Nelson, 2nd place, and Kaley Case, 1st place; Individual: Allyson Cameron, 3rd place, and Monica Muncy, 1st place; Story of Job: Emily Case, 3rd place, Allyson Cameron, 2nd place, and Monica Muncy, 1st place; Literary Writing: Song Parody: Nicole Tolman, 1st place; and Short Poem: Nicole Tolman, 2nd place. Performing Arts: Dance Solo: Allyson Cameron, 1st place; Vocal Duet: Maggie and Nicole Tolman, 1st place; Vocal Solo Maggie Tolman, 2nd place; Instrumental Solo: (piano) Emily Case, 1st place; Arts and Crafts: Drawing: Emily Burger, 3rd place, Maggie Tolman, 2nd place and Emily Case, 1st place. Drama/Comedy Group 1st place for Bethel #8. The Grand Council of Idaho Scholarship Award was presented to Monica Muncy.

The Debbie and Katie Lindsey Memorial Scholarship Award went to Maggie Tolman.

Emily Case also will represent Bethel #8 as a member of Idaho’s Messenger Team that will compete at Supreme Session in Oakland, Calif. This honor is earned by competing in the competition with excellence in memory work.

Installation of officers for the Adult Council and Daughters was held in June. They are Grand Guardian Mary Jane Muncy, Grand Inner Guard George Butters, Marshall Cindy Tolman and Grand 3rd Messenger Ann Troxel Jacops. The Jobs Daughters installed from Bethel #8 are Grand Bethel Jr. Princess Maggie Tolman, Grand Bethel Marshall Nicole Tolman Grand Bethel Sr. Custodian Brooke Butters and Grand Bethel Representatives California #2: Allyson Cameron; Kentucky/Carolinas: Emily Case; Philippines: Sierra Butters and Virginia: Emily Burger. Also participating in the installation was Monica Muncy as Miss Idaho Job’s Daughter.
