Bishop Kelly girls soccer downed Kuna 3-1 for a 54th straight win.
Hannah Hust recorded the lone goal of the game for Kuna (9-3, 9-3 4A SIC).
Lauren Elwer had a pair of goals for the Knights (12-0 overall, 12-0 4A Southern Idaho Conference), who got their toughest test of the season but still got by Kuna 3-1 Monday in 4A SIC play.
Friday, Sept. 21
KUNA 51, THUNDER RIDGE 6: The Kavemen (2-3) traveled to Idaho Falls and earned a happy bus ride home with a 45-point blowout of Thunder Ridge in a nonleague game.
MELBA 49, MARSING 6: Scott Martinez and Easton Bunnell anchored a fierce rushing attack that led the Mustangs (2-2) to a dominant home victory over Marsing (1-3).
Martinez finished with four touchdowns and Bunnell finished with two. Melba is tied with New Plymouth in the 2A WIC standings, but both teams trail Cole Valley and McCall-Donnelly.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 20
Kuna defeated Nampa in three sets in a Sept. 20 volleyball match. The scores were 26-24, 25-15, 25-23.
Courtney Weatherby had 10 kills and 20 digs for Kuna.
Miaja Mills had 12 kills, Ryann Halladay had 11 kills, Jessie Fouts provided 28 assists and Matti Whitehead had 36 digs.
Audrah Radford had nine kills, two aces and six digs for Nampa, while Madeline Ehinger had four kills, 15 digs, one block and one assist. Sydney Buxton had one ace, two digs and assists for Nampa.
Melba won in three sets against Marsing. Scores were 25-7, 25-18, 25-17.
Madisen Bunnell had 19 digs, Kate Clark 17 kills and eight aces, Cindy Read provided 10 blocks and Katelyn Young gave 21 assists
Katelyn Fewkes had 10 digs for Marsing. Gabriela Rodriguez had 8 digs and six kills. Ashley Loucks provided nine assists and had four kills.
