Kuna varsity football beat Ridgevue 38-0 during the first home game of the season. Kuna’s next home football game will be Sept. 28, which is also homecoming.

COLE VALLEY 3, MELBA 2: The Chargers (1-1) outlasted the Mustangs (5-1) 25-16, 25-19, 18-25, 22-25, 15-10 in a hard-fought 2A Western Idaho Conference opener. Emma Clark led Melba with 14 kills and 45 digs, Jenna Hill had nine kills and seven blocks and Madisen Bunnell had 37 digs.

BOYS SOCCER

Kuna boys soccer took on Centennial High School on Tuesday, Sept. 4 in a must win game for Kuna. Coming back from a goal down early in the first half Kuna dominated the game with the final score 5-2. Leading goal scorer Ibraheem Bah scored his third hat trick of the season.

“This set of lads have a lot of courage and determination,” said head coach Stephen Speak. “I don’t think I’ve ever coached a team before that battles right to the last whistle no matter what the score is in the game.”
