MERIDIAN — A woman was hospitalized after a crash Wednesday afternoon near Meridian and Victory roads.
Four vehicles, including an RV, were involved. Two dispatchers initially told the Idaho Press that seven were involved.
The woman who was hospitalized was in stable but serious condition as of Thursday afternoon, according to Meridian Police Lt. Berle Stokes.
She was stopped in her SUV in a southbound lane on Meridian Road when she was rear-ended by a pickup, Stokes said. The collision pushed the SUV into oncoming traffic in the northbound lane, where it was hit by an RV. The RV collided with another pickup in the southbound lane.
Other victims were treated at the scene and released, Stokes said.
The crash spread across all fives lanes of Meridian Road, Stokes said, and the road was closed in both directions for about 2.5 hours.
