Kuna City Council last week approved a 125-acre annexation request, near East Rodeo Lane and North Meridian Road, by local developer Larry Hansen.

Hansen requested that six land parcels at 1863/2075 E. Rodeo Lane and 2400 N. Meridian Road be annexed into Kuna city limits. About 77 acres received C-1 (neighborhood commercial district) zoning, and about 48 acres received R-4 (medium-density residential district) zoning.

The owners of the property include Go for It LLC (76 acres), Select Development & Contracting LLC (31 acres), Jane Golden (17 acres) and Sandstone Farms (1 acre).

According to Idaho Secretary of State business filings, Brian F. McColl is the registered agent for Go for It, Randy L. Fullmer is the registered agent for Select Development & Contracting and Hansen is the registered agent for Sandstone Farms.

At the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting on July 9, Hansen said his intent for the 48 acres that received R-4 zoning is to provide a pathway for Select Development & Contracting to extend the Lugarno Terra Subdivision, according to City Council documents.

There were no development plans submitted with the annexation request. When development is desired, another application must be submitted to the city.
