The Kuna Library would like to invite the community to our annual Pancake Breakfast on Wednesday, July 31 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. To show appreciation for our library patrons, the library staff will be serving fresh, hot pancakes right off the griddle. Our Summer Reading ambassadors, Bibliobot, Endorphin and Dr. Wen will be making an appearance! During the breakfast, we will be awarding all of the amazing grand prizes to the lucky winners of our summer reading program. You don’t want to miss this one! Due to the breakfast that morning, the Kuna Library will be open for business from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to lead the fall Music and Movement classes. If you are interested please contact the programs department at 208-922-1025.
Sign-ups for Mayor’s Book Club will be Monday, August 5. We will be reading “Framed” by James Ponti. The meeting with Mayor Joe Stear will be September 12 at 7 p.m. Space is limited so come sign up at the circulation desk to get your free copy. The Mayor’s Book Club is for 4th through 6th graders.
As summer winds down, we would like to thank all the participants, parents, volunteers and sponsors that took part in our Summer Reading program, “A Universe of Stories” this year. The library staff had a marvelous time presenting all of the fun activities and programs for everyone. We hope you had an enjoyable time as well.
