Looking for an Easter egg hunt this weekend? Kuna has a few to offer this Saturday.
Kuna Nazarene Church has several egg hunts starting at 10 a.m., and a few of them are for children with physical or mental special needs. The church, located at 1281 W. Avalon St., is offering:
- A beeping egg hunt for children who are visually impaired
- A magnetic egg hunt for children with mobility restrictions
- A quiet egg hunt for children with sensory processing sensitivities
- A general egg hunt for children 3 years old and under
- A general egg hunt for children 4-6 years old
Children can trade in candy for prizes and candy substitutions can be made for children with allergies.
The event will also feature a photo booth and face painting. On-site registration is available, or to register early visit kunanaz.com.

Kuna High School egg hunts for various ages start promptly at 10 a.m., 637 E. Deer Flat Road. Age groups are:
- 0-3 years (parents can go with children but not pick up eggs)
- 4-5 years
- 6-7 years
- 8-10 years
Swan Falls Assisted Living will host an Easter Egg Hunt & Celebration starting at noon. Community, residents and families are invited. Hotdogs, chips and drinks will be provided. Lunch starts at noon. The egg hunt starts at 1 p.m. Check in is at building two, 194 W. White Way.
Kids Independent Day School will have an egg hunt starting 9:30 a.m., 1615 N. Linder Road. All ages are welcome, and there will be a special visit from the Easter Bunny.
MELBA FIRE DISTRICT TO HOST EASTER PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Melba Firefighters and EMTs invite the community to the station for their 42nd annual pancake breakfast.
“This annual fundraiser allows us to fill our Burnout Fund and purchase clothing and equipment with food and raffle sales,” the fire district said in its Facebook event post.
The volunteer firefighters will prepare the food and start serving at 7 a.m. The event will be at the fire station, 408 Carrie Rex Ave., until 1 p.m. or when the line is empty. There will a gun and general raffle. Breakfast costs $5. Cash, checks and major cards are accepted.
