Community members are invited to Kuna’s annual nondenominational Day of Prayer Breakfast May 2, where religious leaders of local churches will offer blessings to the community and guest speakers will give a talk on this year’s theme: “Love one another. Just as I have loved you.” (John 13:34) Testimony will be given by a prison official, an inmate employer and a former inmate.
The event honoring the National Day of Prayer will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Old Fourth Street Gym, 571 W. Fourth St. Breakfast will be provided by Entourage Event and Catering; coffee will be provided by Latte’ Da coffee shop.
Tickets are $14.99 per person and donations are gladly accepted. People or organizations can sponsor for $120. The event will end around 8:45 a.m.
A free evening prayer gathering will be held at Changed Life Church, 500 E. Deer Flat Road, from 7-8 p.m.
