Karcher Church of the Nazarene in Nampa is hosting a Harvest Festival, Trunk-or-Treat from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27. There will be games, food, bounce houses, hay rides, train rides, candy and a performance by illusionist Kex Lang. Fun for the whole family and it is absolutely free. The church is located at 2515 W. Karcher Road, Nampa.

Hey Seniors! It’s your special day every third Tuesday of each month at Big Mic’s Saloon & BBQ Smokehouse. Together with Copper Springs we pay it back to our elderly. The Kuna Quilt Club is still active. Piecemakers of Idaho meet the fourth Wednesday of every month at the Methodist Church. They have made veterans quilts for the high school and both middle schools to give to veterans during their assemblies. They will also donate comfort quilts to the police and fire departments. There is a special exhibit at the BBQ show in Boise, and a small quilt display Oct. 19-20 at the library on Cole and Ustick roads. They invite anyone, any age, any experience to join them. The Kuna Firefighters IAFF local 4165 is hosting a golf tournament this fall to support Kuna’s firefighter union. The Kuna Firefighters Great Balls of Fire Golf Tournament will take place Oct. 19 at Boise Ranch Golf Course. Registration begins at 10 a.m., and a shotgun start is set for 11 p.m. Sponsorships, ranging from $100 to $500, are available. The price for a golf team is $320, and for an individual, it’s $80. Early voting will be available through the Ada County Early Voting trailer 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 23-24 at City Hall, 751 W. Fourth St. Make sure to bring a state recognized photo ID such as a Driver’s License, Passport or Military ID. In order to register to vote or update your voter registration, please bring proof of residency. This includes documents such as vehicle registration, a utility bill or bank statement with name and address.

The Kuna Senior Bazaar is coming Saturday, Nov. 16 (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) at the senior center, 299 Avenue B. Find crafted items like jewelry, afghans, toys, placemats and more. Vendors — please call Sheri at 208-941-9351 for your table!

Every Saturday, the Willows Edge Farm hosts a morning farm walk starting at 8:30 a.m. The farm walk is an educational tour where guests can visit animals in person. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Community Bingo is held every Saturday evening at Kuna Senior Center, 229 Avenue B. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., early birds starts at 6 p.m. and regular games at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10-$20. Must be at least 18.

Book and a Bite takes place every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Reed Elementary School. The program has STEM activity stations, free books, craft projects, read-aloud stations, free lunch and raffle prizes. Reed Elementary School is located at 1670 N. Linder Road.

Melba Valley Museum has turned 100 this year, has added a few new exhibits and is open for the season until Oct. 26.
