n Kuna High School Fine Arts Presents “Guys and Dolls” March 1-3. Showings are 7 p.m. each night and a 2 p.m. matinee showing will be March 3. The performance will be in the Kuna Performing Arts Center at the high school, 637 East Deer Flat Road. Ticket prices are $8 for students and seniors, $10 for adults. n The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will be celebrating its 150th anniversary February 2018. The public is invited to attend an open house event 4-8 p.m. March 10 at 6608 W. Fairview Avenue in Boise. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has made more than $6 billion in donations since we first started 149 years ago. Elks’ members must be American citizens who are at least 21 years of age and must believe in God. The ceremony will include the Enrique Camarena Award in honor of Jermaine Galloway retired Boise Policeman and a presentation to Treasure Valley Vietnam Veterans of America with a grant from the Boise Elks Lodge.

n The Idaho Writers Guild will present its Seventh Annual Idaho Writers Conference May 4-5 at the Boise Centre, 850 W. Front Street. Authors, agents and editors will gather for presentations ranging from How to Get Your Writing Distinguished in a Digital Landscape to The Value of Setting. Options include pitches to agents, manuscript evaluations from editors and lunch with a presenter.
