Senate Republicans have come out of their closed-door caucus and filtered back into the Senate chamber. Asked what the plan is, Senate Majority Leader Kelly Anthon said, "We are on the cusp of a motion to sine die." House Speaker Scott Bedke, who was waiting in the Senate's lobby, said, "We will follow suit."
"Nothing happens in a bicameral system without agreement on both sides," Bedke said. "We have a starting point for Jan. 10th. This issue's not going to go away short-term."
