Senate janice 17

At the request of Senate Majority Leader Kelly Anthon, the Senate has now formally appointed committees to notify the governor and the House that it's ready to adjourn sine die, which is Latin for "without a date." That means they're done for the year.

The Senate then went at ease to await the return of the committees. When the committee arrived at the House, the House reconvened, and after hearing the committee report, Speaker Scott Bedke said, "We agree; we'll see you in January."
