The first confirmed case of coronavirus in North Idaho has been confirmed, with the Panhandle Health District and Kootenai Health reporting a new confirmed case in a male over age 60 in Kootenai County. He’s experiencing only mild symptoms; it’s the 12th confirmed case of COVID-19 statewide.

The patient’s treating physician ordered testing based on the patient’s clinical history. There’s more info at the state’s coronavirus website.
