Student musicians

Student musicians from Sugar-Salem High School perform in the Statehouse rotunda on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022.

Student musicians from Sugar-Salem High School are performing in the Capitol rotunda's first floor, filling the Statehouse with music as the Legislature prepares to  convene its session today. Other school groups also are scheduled to perform. The House and Senate both are set to convene at noon - despite an earlier suggestion on the Legislature's website that the House would convene at 11 - and then Gov. Brad Little will deliver his State of the State and budget message to a joint session of the Legislature in the House chambers at 1.

I will live-blog the speech here; check back for updates!
