It has been a few years since Emmett has sent six athletes to the Idaho High School Activities Association State Tennis Championships. While none of the three doubles teams brought home a trophy last weekend, the qualifying and participating could become a benchmark for the young participants in the program.

Senior Elena Henry and Halie Allen scored an opening round 6-4, 7-5 (5) upset win in girls doubles before seeing their careers end with a pair of hard fought losses to higher-seeds.
