The Emmett High boys soccer team teamed up with MIP Productions and Stoney’s Roadhouse on July 10 to provide parking service during the Truck Invasion at the old Mill complex. Working two hour shifts throughout the day the team provided parking guidance for the estimated 3,000 attendees at the event. MIP representatives Shane and Karen Mettler present a check for over $3,000 to EHS Soccer coach Oscar Garcia and his team for their efforts. “They provided consistent, professional, and courtesy service to a larger than expected crowd and were key to helping make the event outstanding,” Mettler said. MIP and Stoney’s intend to offer similar fundraising opportunities to other youth organizations throughout their busy summer and fall activities schedules at the multi-use facility.
