Those wanting to get a jump start on the May 17 Primary Election are currently able to vote at the office of the Gem County Clerk in Emmett. The Clerk’s office is on the second floor of the Gem County Courthouse, 415 E Main St, Emmett.
Those wishing to vote absentee by mail must first submit an application for absentee ballot request on line or request by letter including your name, home address, and address you want the ballot to be mailed to. You can access that request form online at: tinyurl.com/3aa322ts
All parties requesting a ballot form must sign the letter of request. The completed application can be delivered by mail, or in person, to Gem County Clerk’s Office, Gem County Courthouse, Room 202, 415 E. Main Street, Emmett, ID 83617, faxed to (208)365-7795 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Absentee applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 6 for the May 17 election.
The completed absentee ballots must be received in the Clerk’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on election day.
