Police lights

A 20-year-old woman died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Emmett Friday, according to Idaho State Police.

Police investigated the crash at 12:03 p.m. on State Highway 16 near Substation Road. Police say Inara Nabinger-Villarin, of Emmett, was driving north in a 1997 Buick Skylark when the vehicle went off the right shoulder, over-corrected and rolled, coming to rest off of the roadway.

Nabinger-Villarin died at the scene. According to police, she was not wearing a seat belt.

Pfc. Nabinger-Villarin was a member of the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team of the Idaho National Guard.
