‘Honor our Veterans Dinner’

Enjoy a special night out with this rare opportunity to meet and hear from a WWII veteran who is also passionate about horses. Hidden Hollow Horse Rescue invites you to savor a locally-sourced, gourmet dinner, play the raffle or bid in their auction to win firearms, an African Safari, original artwork and other prizes. The dinner is held at the Warhawk Museum in Nampa, to honor those who have served and protected our great country. The evening is filled each year with veterans who share their experiences in combat and with horses. The “Honor Our Veterans Dinner,” will be from 5-9 p.m., Saturday, August 10 at the Warhawk Museum.

The Guest of Honor is WWII Sgt. Bus Hudson, who served in Gen. Patton’s Third Army from 1943 to 1945. He also raised and trained horses his entire life, winning roping events at rodeos into his 70s. HHHR is honored to have Bus Hudson, “The Cowboy in a Soldier’s Uniform,” and his wife of 68 years, Louise, as their guests of honor at our 2019 dinner.

When you attend the “Honor our Veterans Dinner,” you are helping to make possible equine assisted therapeutic experiences for heroes who have served and protected America. These equine experiences change the lives of veterans who are facing physical and emotional challenges.
