...AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM MST
FRIDAY...
* WHAT...An extended period of stagnant air, with light winds
and little vertical mixing.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Idaho and
northeast and southeast Oregon.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM MST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Periods of air stagnation can lead to the buildup of
pollutants near the surface.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
An Air Stagnation Advisory concerns itself with meteorological
conditions only. For more information on air pollution in Idaho,
visit website www.deq.idaho.gov. For Oregon, visit website
www.oregon.gov/deq.
If possible, reduce or eliminate activities that contribute to
air pollution, such as outdoor burning, and the use of
residential wood burning devices. Reduce vehicle trips and
vehicle idling as much as possible.

Saturday, December 17th, at 10:00 a.m. the Freezeout Hill and Applegate Idaho Trail Chapters, Daughters of the American Revolution will be having a wreath laying ceremony at the Bramwell Cemetery.
In partnership with the Wreaths Across America Association, wreaths will be placed at veterans’ gravesites. DAR chapters across the nation will be laying wreaths at this appointed time. As each veteran’s name is said, a wreath will be placed on the grave, a bell rung, and the veteran will be thanked for their service.
The ceremony will end with Everett Maltbie, American Legion, reading the words to Taps and Emmett High School student, Michaela Banks, playing Taps.
Wreaths will remain at the cemetery until the first of the year. All are welcome.
