Chris Ho

Gary E. Collins

If the Obama care Medicaid Expansion is approved by the voters. The Legislature will have to decide where the money will come from. The Medicaid budget has continued to grow each year. With the Expansion it will grow faster. The funds will have to come from the General Fund. So Medicaid funding will have to compete with funding for Education and with all the other State agencies. At this point the Federal Government is paying 90% of the cost of Expansion. We are 22 Trillion in debt. Now long can it last?

Our population is growing, and so our prisons are growing to. We will need to build more jails and prisons. If we were to removed Mandatory minimum sentencing, letting our Judges do there jobs, having more Drug courts and more mental health and substance abuse help. I feel could keep more people out prisons.
