As the current Chief Deputy Treasurer of Ada County, I have first-hand experience in managing public funds. I am running to actively participate in our community and to help guide the financial oversight of County investments and property tax collections. I am a proud product of Idaho public schools, earning degrees in business and law. With over 20 years of professional experience, I am eager to serve taxpayers with more efficient solutions and by making more information available to the public.
Have you been convicted of any misdemeanor or felony charges? (Traffic citations not included). If yes, what were the convictions and the circumstances?

My top priority is accountability and ensuring fiscal responsibility throughout the operations of the office. Transparency is also a top priority. This means making additional information about the County’s investment portfolio and the collection and distribution of property taxes even more accessible by taxpayers. Finally, innovation through technology is a priority to best serve the growing number of homeowners and taxpayers in Ada County.
Why are you running for this office?
Elizabeth "Beth" Mahn

With my professional training and education in accounting, business and law, I have the exact experience necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of County Treasurer. The Ada County Treasurer accounts for an investment portfolio of approximately $200 million and even more in property taxes for the taxing districts. These are your funds and must be managed with experience. By working in the office, I have successfully implemented cost-saving practices and identified additional opportunities to better serve taxpayers. Voters deserve a collaborative leader with proven professional experience as their next Ada County Treasurer.
