MERIDIAN—On May 4, members of the National Association of Letter Carriers in the Treasure Valley had their hair, including some beards, dyed blue to help spread the word about the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 14.

Letter carriers had their hair dyed blue by volunteers from Undone Salon in Boise. This hair and beard dyeing event is back after a two-year hiatus. This is the 30th Year of the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, which allows individuals to leave non-perishable food by their mailboxes. This food is picked up by the letter carriers during their mail routes on May 14 and is donated to The Idaho Foodbank. Individuals can also make financial donations online to support Stamp Out Hunger at idahofoodbank.org.
