NAMPA — Betty Adams, of Caldwell, will be performing country gospel music at 7 p.m. Monday at the Nampa Civic Center, located at 311 Third St. S. in Nampa, as a celebration of her 40th year performing country gospel. She will be playing the best of her original songs.

Tickets to the event cost $10 and can be purchased at the Nampa Civic Center Box Office, online at nampaciviccenter.com or by phone at 468-5555.

Adams has been performing professionally for 40 years, playing in Nashville, Tennessee; for prison inmates with a ministry; and most recently with her traveling band Ozark Mountain Music, which focuses on fiddle and banjo tunes.

In this concert, Adams will be performing with her “All Girls Band,” a mix of friends and relatives.

The music group Honi Deaton and Dream will open for Adams. Deaton, a graduate of Vallivue High School, has earned several music awards.
