Kael Mouillierat and Chad Klassen each scored a pair of goals for the Idaho Steelheads, who snapped a six-game losing streak with a 6-2 win over the Las Vegas Wranglers on Wednesday.

Klassen scored back-to-back goals in the first period for Idaho, which fell behind 26 seconds into the game.

David Fredriksson made it 3-1 for the Steelheads after one period, then Mouillierat scored once each in the second and third periods, and Jacob Cepis added a second-period goal for Idaho, which also got 47 saves from Jimmy Spratt in the victory.

In other Steelheads news, the team added forward Derek LeBlanc; team captain Marty Flichel was placed on the seven-day injured list; and that the team has released defenseman Cam Ritchie.

LeBlanc most recently played for the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League, scoring four goals and adding 13 assists in 12 games for the Giants.
